The remains of the fallen Hope radio news anchor and presenter, Clare Kamukama will be laid to rest at her ancestral home in Kahondo, Maziba Sub-county, Kabale district tomorrow.
Kamukama passed on Tuesday in Kampala.
She has been hosting the ” emirimo” radio show on radio from 10am-1pm every Monday–Friday.
Kamukama was also an English news anchor at the same station.
During a funeral service held at Lift Up Jesus Global Ministries Church in Kabale on Thursday, various mourners described the deceased as a loving person who was committed to her job and ministry.
Romano Mukama, the deceased’s brother said that Kamukama was her only hope and inspiration after the loss of their mother at an early age.
” She has been encouraging me and motivating me. She always told me that i would succeed in life. I have lost an inspiration,” said Kamukama.
Rogers Ruyondo, the Hope radio Manager hailed the deceased for being a good link between the listeners and staff of the radio station.
Pastor Margaret Kizza of Lift Up Jesus Church said that Kamukama was a devoted Christian who inspired many believers in good conduct and service.
