Fallen Radio Star Laid to Rest

The remains of the fallen Hope radio news anchor and presenter, Clare Kamukama have today been laid to rest at her ancestral home in Kahondo, Maziba Sub-county, and Kabale district.

Kamukama passed on Tuesday in Kampala after succumbing to a yet to be known illness.

She has been hosting the” emirimo” radio show on radio from 10am-1pm every MondayFriday.

Kamukama was also an English news anchor at the same station.
During a funeral service held at Lift Up Jesus Global Ministries Church in Kabale on Thursday, various mourners described the deceased as a loving person who was committed to her job and ministry.

Speaking at the send off ceremony, Romano Mukama, the deceased’s brother said that Kamukama was her only hope and inspiration after the loss of their mother at an early age.

Preaching at the same function held at Kahondo play ground in Maziba sub county, Bishop Aloysius Kizza of lift up Jesus church revealed that the deceased had accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and described her as someone who was committed to work.
