Three Primary School in Rubanda district have on Friday morning delayed to receive Integrated Science paper, in the ongoing Primary Leaving Examinations-PLE.
The schools are; Kishakyi primary school, Mengo Primary in Muko Sub County and Nyakatugunda primary school in Ikumba sub county.
Anthony Musasizi, the head teacher of Kishaki primary school says that by mid-day, candidates and supervisors were still stranded waiting for Integrated Science paper.
Musasizi who is also the Chairperson Uganda National Teachers Union, Rubanda branch says that they are yet to receive communication for the District PLE supervisor for the whereabouts of the paper.
The Rubanda District Education Officer, Celestine Magezi says that they are working around the clock to make sure that the anomaly is rectified.
He also says that about seven primary schools also faced
the same problem yesterday.
The Rubanda District overall PLE supervisor, Richard Mugayehwenki says that the paper had been diverted to Kamwezi Sub County in Rukiga District, adding that his team has already intervened to solve the problem.
The primary schools that were affected yesterday are;
Mungaara,Buzaaniro, Kashakyi,Mengo, Nyakatugunda, Rwakahonda and Ruhonwa II.
By the time of filling the story candidates had not sat for the paper.
