Mbarara City Humbled by Vipers

A goal from Moussa Mbayi a second half substitute was enough to since Mbarara city Fc on home ground.

The win by Vipers at Kakyeka stadium ended Mbarara city Fc’s unbeaten run on home ground.

Mbayi scored in the 79th minute. Mbarara City goal keeper Ali Kimera was a man to watch after making several saves in the first half.

Mbarara city FC’s loss against the vipers leaves the Ankole Lions struggling for glory in their maiden Azam premier league appearance. Mbarara City is currently in the 9th position with 9 points.

Mbarara city head coach Viali Bainomugisha says that the team tried their best to play good football but this was not enough to earn those points.
