Kabale district speaker Loy Zikampereza has urged parents in Kabale district and the entire Kigezi region to ensure that they send child mothers back to school.
Zimkampereza who was this afternoon speaking at training for Ndorwa East women leaders held at Kirigime guest house in Kabale Municipality.
Zikampereza revealed that a big number of girls have been forced to drop out of school after getting becoming pregnant before completing their studies.
Zikampereza says that there are several women who have emerged victorious and rose through the ranks because they went sent back to school after giving birth at a tender age.
Norah Twenda the female councillor for Maziba and Kaharo sub counties revealed that women must be extra careful in handling household equipment such as knives among others to avoid accidents.
She revealed that carelessness among some mothers has on some occasions been disastrous.
The function was organized by Ndorwa East Legislator Wilfred Niwagaba
