The Ibanda Resident district Commissioner Eliasto Akatuhebwa has called for an amicable solution to the disagreements between health workers and the government.
Akatuhebwa told our reporter on Saturday that the fights between the government and the health workers hurt the common man most and not those who are financially stable.
Akatuhebwa further revealed that a decision by the health workers to resume work is the best way to address the situation since the deliberations between them and government can continue.
He says that though his office has not yet moved in to start arresting health workers who have not shown up for work, He will be left with no option but effect the directive by the president to have all the striking health workers arrested.
The workers strike in Ibanda has hit hard the health centre IV’s of Ruhooko and Ishongororo .leaving patients stranded.
