The Ibanda district Director of health services Julius Bamwine has cautioned Ugandans against segregating HIV/AIDs patients.
Bamwine who was on Friday speaking at the celebrations to mark the world aid day for Ibanda district held at Ibanda district head quarters, revealed that it is unfortunate that Ugandans have failed to understand that being HIV Positive is not the end of life.
He further revealed that segregating against those who are positive is very backword and makes them feel abandoned.
Speaking at the same function, the Ibanda deputy resident district Commissioner Mary Bashongoka urged all Ugandans to join the efforts by the government in the fight against aids if the war is to be worn.
