The Mbarara municipality Member of Parliament Michael Tusiime has called for a collective responsibility in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The legislator says that people of all ages and different vocations such as parents, teachers, religious leaders and political leaders must join the campaign to the vice.
Tusiime was speaking at the celebrations to mark the world aids day for Mbarara district held at Nyamityobora play ground in Kakoba division Mbarara municipality.
He revealed that the current HIV prevalence calls for the quick intervention of all people and key stakeholders to jointly check this.
Tusiime further commended president Museveni for his commitment to fighting further spread of the virus and in addition to supporting those who are already positive.
