Banyankigezi FC Struggling

Banyakigezi Football Club is struggling to raise over 33 million shillings to facilitate their away games in the Inter-provincial Federation of Uganda Football Association -FUFA- the Drum tournament that Kicks off this Month.
Fideration of Uganda Football Association -FUFA introduced “The Drum’ tournament, with an aim of taking the football game to the masses based on Provinces in Uganda.
The tournament was on 18th October 2017 launched by the FUFA President, Eng Nicholas Magogo, following a resolution of the 93rd FUFA Ordinary General Assembly and the 13th FUFA Executive Committee directive to formulate the Competition.
The Competition will be played between 16 provinces of Uganda.
Now, the Chairperson of Kigezi province, who is also the Western Region FUFA Delegate, Switzen Niwagaba says that FUFA will be facilitating all regional teams, whenever they are playing away matches.
He says that the Kigezi region team needs 33, 070,000 shillings, to facilitate players’ transport, meals, refreshments, accommodation, slashing the pitch, first Aid kit, and facilitating coaching staff among others, for them to be able to play all their nine games.
