Revenge Attack in Mitooma District Claims Two

Two people were on Thursday Killed by a mob in the southwestern district of Mitooma.

The incident was trigered by an incident where by a woman identified as Allen Pamela was killee by her husband Marisiano Bwesigye (24) accusing her of promiscuity.

The husband later handed him self over to police at Bitereko sub county head quarters.

This prompted the relatives of the deceased to storm the suspects home in Kalisizo cell, Karimbiro Parish, Bitereko Sub County in Mitoma district and started targeting his relatives.

The relatives to the deceased who had travelled from Kiyanga sub county were armed with machetes and pangas and set on fire five houses,destroyed banana plantations in addition to killing two people.

Those killed are Reginah Kyomuhendo a sister to the suspect and suspects Mother only identified as Korugyendo.

Hussein Nuwagaba the Mitooma district police commander told our reporter that the police are having in detention Marisiano Bwesigye for over the wife’s murder and also hunting for the ringleaders of the mob.
