Christians at Christ the King Church have launched a music album ahead of this year’s festive season.
The 12 songs video album was put together by four choirs from the Kabale based church.
The choirs that made this possible are St. Augustine Choir, Sacred Heart, High Mass and the Parish Choir.
According to Fr.Fred Birungi, the parish priest for Christ the King parish in Kabale diocese, it took Christians over six months to prepare the Christmas Carol album.
“This Album is a true taste of patience and determination as choir members would come here often to prepare these songs,” said Birungi.
The Ndorwa East legislator Wilfred Niwagaba who presided over the launch of the album on Sunday challenged the youth to join church Choirs in order to develop their talents and earn from Evangelism.
Niwagaba observed that most youth have made a lot of money after discovering their talents as they sing in church in addition to spreading the word of God.
He contributed one million to the church choir and called on Christians to dedicate a special Sunday for Choir fundraising.
“Choirs blaze up fellowships every time we come to church. The best way we can reward them is to support their work by equipping them with the best materials,” said Niwagaba.
