James Byaruhanga the publicity secretary for Rugaaga Sub county farmer’s forum told our reporter on phone several plantations were destroyed completely.
Byaruhanga says that the rain which was characterised by heavy wind did not spare houses as well.

Isingiro district local council five chairperson Jeremiah Kamurali told our reporter that he is worried that the heavy rains have left the locals in a worrying situation.
He says that the district will embark on a move to sensitize the locals on improved farming practices so that such disasters are avoided.
