The Buhweju Resident District commissioner Emmy Kateera last night came under fire over a statement he made following the gruesome killing of a woman in Bisya Sub County Buhweju district.
The incident happened on Wednesday night and the deceased was identified as Rosemary Ntegyerize aged (53), a wife to a businessman John Kiiza, a resident of Kasana cell Bisya Parish, Bisya Sub County in Buhweju district.
Katera went on what’s app group Orusaniya Crew and posted that they will leave no stone unturned until the suspects are brought to book.
His post did not go well with members of the group who asked him why police does not respond immediately in such instances but always available to arrest opposition leaders even when they have not done anything
Members who included Godfrey Kasimbazi, Kamara Alex fired at the RDC saying he is good at tracing and stopping people from visiting Buhweju district citing a scenario when police battled with Kyandondo East Member of parliament Kyagulanyi Sentamu also known as Bobi Wine while he was visiting his comrade Francis Mwijukye.
The panelists accuse police of rushing to cause arrests of politicians yet they are slow when it comes to hunt down criminals
Baker Masiko, another group member openly told Kateera that police head offices in Buhweju dstrict close at 8Pm wondering where people would run to incase of an attack.
