Rev.Fr.Gaetano Batanyenda the parish priest for Kitanga catholic parish in Rukiga district says that it is high time that Ugandan youth focus on taking charge of the affairs in the country.

Gaetano told our reporter in Kabale town that the government in power has not done enough to ensure that youth are supported and given a chance to develop and rescue the country from what he describes as an aging leadership.

Gaetano says that great men in the world such as Nelson Mandela and Martin Lurther King did not wait to start the struggle when they were very old but instead started fighting injustices when they were youth.
Gaetano says that even president Museveni who he says was once seen as a liberator started the struggle when he was a young man.
Gaetano says that the youth must resist being manipulated and focus on planning and forging a better and brighter future the country.

The Man of God who also doubles as the chairperson of Kick corruption out of Uganda says that the current government has failed service delivery especially in the health and education sectors thus putting the lives of Ugandans at risk.
