Case Against Mbarara District Pushed to June

The Mbarara grade one magistrate’s court presided over by magistrate Pamela Karamagi on Tuesday further adjourned the case in which the Executive Director of the American procurement company in Uganda who is former Malawi’s representative to Uganda Robert Mwesigwa Rukaari demands the Mbarara district local Government the title of the sub lease on the land that is where UNICEF was occupying (former UNICEF land) to 7th June 2018.
While speaking to our reporter on phone, Rukaari said that apparently is in London on the official visit but revealed that he was given sub-lease of which Mbarara district local Government denied to give him the title for the sub-lease.
In Court he was represented Abert Kanduho.
However After the court session, the district councilors that attended the court were 9 and while speaking to journalists revealed that connivance has been spotted because among the councilors that attended there was no any executive member including the district chairman and his vice.

They blamed the Judiciary for playing donkey tricks that could lead them to the loss

Mbarara district council speaker Nyaguma Baram revealed that they ever since Rukaari dragged them to court as the district they have never filed their defense which has been filed today after being granted a permission to file late defense and which is prolonging the case.
He urged whoever is a tenant to someone’s property to always exhibit professionalism and trustworthy.
