Kigezi Province Head Coach Sacked

Kigezi pronvincial team in the Fideration of Uganda Footballl Associations Drum Tournament has sacked its Head Coach Richard Bwambale, his assistant Moses Mutabazi and the technical head coach Denis Tushabe over poor performance and incompetence.

Bwambale and his team were appointee at the opening of the 2018 FUFA Drum tournament in February 2018.

Kigezi is one of the 16 Provinces in Uganda participating in the 2018 Drum tournament.

Kigezi province FC has only 4 points in its three matches so far played in the tournament.

It was defeated by Acholi province 1-0, drew with Lango province 1-1 and secured the only win after defeating Buganda 1-0.

Switzen Niwagaba, the Chairperson of Kigezi province, who is also the Western Region FUFA Delegate, says that they have been forced to sack Bwambale and his fellow staff mates after their performance in the tournament has not pleased the management and the entire family of the province’s team.

Niwagaba says that the team is still trying to identify a manger and staff that is capable of making it achieve the Club objectives.
