Kabale Municipality Halts Road Works Over Road Works

Kabale municipal council has suspended the construction of Mutambuka road following the disagreements between the kabale municipal council and residents along the road.

According to the kabale Municipal Mayor His worship Sentaro Byamugisha in an exclusive interview with our reporter he explained that under road fund Kabale Municipal council was to tarmac Mutambuka road at a total tune cost of 243million shillings but due to disagreements between the residents and the council about shifting of their fences to pave the way for the construction of a half kilo meter road to begin.

Mayor Sentaro, revealed that due to stubbornness of the residents, they have suspended the construction of Mutambuka road and amount of money worth 243 million shillings which was meant for that project has been shifted to a half kilo meter Kazooba road for tarmaking where as 34 million shilling which was allocated for Kazooba road for murram has also been shifted to katabazi ,Biteeyi and Kangyebitete
