IGP Ochola Assures Ugandans on Security

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Martin Okoth Ochola has reassured Ugandans of the force’s resolve to protect their lives and property.

During a televised Joint security debate at Serena hotel, Ochola says following the recent wave of murder and kidnaps and the assassination of Arua Municipality Mp Col.Ibrahim Abiriga, the police is working jointly with other security agencies to provide adequate security to Ugandans to enable Ugandans go about their businesses any hitch across the country.

The security minister Gen. Elly Tumwine emphasizes the need for the revival of neighborhood watch to boost area security and curb crime.
Tumwine says that the move will compliment efforts of the police in maintaining security in the country.
