Mutabazi Installed as Kabale Lions Club President

The Muhanga town council town clerk Eudia Mutabazi was was yesterday
evening installed as the new Lions club president for Lions Club
Kabale replacing Simon Byamukama, the Team leader at Let us Save
Uganda a Kabale based nongovernmental organization.

Others installed officers include: Michael Siriri MJL as the first
Lions Club Vice president,Gerald Abeebaboona as the second vice
president and the Southern Division chairperson Mackline Batwale as
the third vice president.

Others include, Ronah Ampeire as the Club secretary, Annet Nebye as
the treasurer, Sharon Baguma as the club Marketing and communication
officer,Alex Baguma as the Service officer and William Kururagire as
Membership director officer.

On the same ceremony, four others news members were inducted and they
are the Kabale District Vice chairperson Bridget Tumwesigye Asinga,
the Rubanda West Member of Parliament Eng.Denis Sabitti,
SophanMutahunga of Muta Kitchen Ware and Ellen KusiimaNamara a Kabale
based businesswoman.

While presiding over the installation and induction of the new members
during the function held at Kirigime Guest house in
KabaleMunicipality, Lion Gershom Tumwesigye who also doubled as the
chief guest urged lions to always work towards sparing time to support
the club and the less privileged people in their respective
communities.

Speaking as the Guest of honor, the Rubanda West Member of Parliament
Eng.Denis Sabitti asked the government to support Lion Clubs in the
country since they help less privileged people in their communities as
well as contributing to the development of the health sector.
