MP Niwagaba Concerned Over Increased Armed Robberies in Kabale

Ndorwa East Legislator Wilfred Niwagaba has expressed concern over the increased cases of armed robberies in the area.
Niwagaba who was addressing the Christians of Butobere church of Uganda revealed that the area has witnessed several cases of armed robberies that have also resulted into the loss of lives.
He says that over three Boda Boda cyclists have been killed while several other locals have been robbed at gun point in a period of less than one month.

Kabale district Vice chairperson Birdget Asinga Tumwesigye revealed that the number of idle people in trading centers who are not interested in working but only want to spend money yet they have no income. Asinga says that the local leaders should work hard and ensure that the idlers are dealt with to check the cases of theft.
She revealed that a big number of the youth spend a lot of time in consumption of Alcohol and use of drugs.
Preaching at the same church Rev.Ambrose Kwesiga who is the parish priest for Nyabushabi church of Uganda parish urged leaders to focus of legislating policies and laws that are pro people and called on Ugandans to pray for the future of the country since lawlessness is becoming the order of the day.

Later in the day, the Legislator presided over the Launch of Nyabushabi Nyekundeire group held at Nyabushabi playground in Nyabushabi Parish in Kyanamira sub county.
The legislator donated shillings one million to the group.
According to Bright Buhamizo the treasurer Nyabushabi Nyekundeire group, The group aims at helping locals when they lose their loved ones,low interests loans and community sensitization about sexually transmitted diseases.
