Forum for Democratic change leaders Stanley Katembeya and Odo Tayebwa have been arrested and detained at Kabwohe police station on allegations of trying to campaign as the voters in the area voted to select their next member of parliament.

They were picked up from Bwayegamba in Kigarama sub county by police and driven off immediately to Kabwohe police station.
According to the resident district commissioner for Sheema District Willy Turyamuboona, the two were reportedly found trying to lure voters to campaign for the Forum for Democratic change party candidate Guma Nuwagaba.
Marshal Tumusiime the Greater Bushenyi told our reporter on phone that he could only confirm the arrest but decline to reveal more details saying that he was busy in the field monitoring the progress of the elections.
