Over 50 Police Officers are undergoing a transformation leadership training on gender to enable them understand better governance and gender related issues.
The training which kicked off on 9th September 2019 will see officers give an effective service delivery on gender related issues affecting citizens.
The training was officially opened by Assistant Inspector General of Police Asan Kasingye on behalf of the Inspector general of police.
The Leadership Training is being held at Senior Command and Staff College, Bwebajja and delivered by The Leadership and Governance Institute of Makerere University of Business Studies (MUBS)
The training focuses at transforming the Police into becoming more gender responsive and effective in the performance of their Constitutional mandate.
