Police in Bushenyi district western Uganda is holding a 30 yr old woman identified as Loyce Ainembabazi for allegedly burning her 9 year old p.2 boy Emmanuel Amanya on the arm and leg for bringing firewood late.

 The incident occurred in Bwombere village in Kabingo parish, Kyamuhunga Sub County in Bushenyi district prompting authorities to swing into action.

The P.2 pupil at Kabingo Model Primary school is now facing challenges in schooling over the injuries and the mother has recorded statement and was detained at Butare police station by Wednesday Feb 19,2020.
