Mbarara Police investigating Murder vide CRB346/2020 that occurred on Friday night the 06/03/2020 when unknown assailants attacked a night watchman in Central cell Nyamityobora Kakoba division Mbarara municipality and cut him using a panga.
The deceased identified as Stephen Arinaitwe,41, a born of Rukiri sub county Ibanda district who was cut with a panga multiple times leaving him with wounds and later tied before the assailants attempted to break into a mobile money shop.
The unknown assailants failed to break into the shop abandoning the plan to rob the shop leaving behind the panga and an axe that have been recovered from the scene
The body was picked by police and taken to Mbarara regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem as police warn people to be vigilant.
