Kabale Education Officer Hands Over Office

The Kabale District Education Officer ,Sabiiti Baabo has retired after a  thirty eight years of service.

Sabiiti  handed over the office today to the current District Inspector of Schools ,Moses Tumwijukye  Bwengye,  who will be run the office in acting capacity.

The handover ceremony was held at the district council hall and was  was witnessed by among others:The District chairperson  Patrick Besigye Keihwa.Kabale  Chief administrative officer Edmond   Ntimba and  district heads of department.

 Speaking at the hand over , Kabale  District chairperson  Patrick Besigye Keihwa described  Baabo as a dedicated civil servant who was incorruptibl.

Patrick Keihwa urged acting District Education officer, Moses  Tumwijukye   Bwengye to emulate Baabo for the good of education in the district.

Baabo told our reporter that he had enjoyed serving as the district education officer for Kabale and revealed that the district leadership and the education department were supportive.
