Kabale
The Kabale woman Member of Parliament Hon. Catherine Ndamira Atwakire
has today donated 10 tons of maize flour to the Kabale District
COVID-19 task force to support the poor and vulnerable families in the
district.
The donation was handed over to the chairperson of the taskforce, also
the Kabale District Resident District Commissioner Darius Nandinda by
Alex Akampurira, the political Assistant of Hon. Atwakire at National
Teachers College Kabale in Kabale Municipality.
According to Akampurira, the donation of Hon. Atwakire is meant for
vulnerable families and other people especially the people with
disabilities, the widows, orphans, child headed families and people
who no longer due to the lockdown such as taxi drivers.
Nandinda commended Ndamira for thinking about the people of Kabale
especially during this hard time of coronavirus.
