President Yoweri Museveni has revealed that the government will focus on extending more support to the private sector and the local councils.
The president says that the local leaders have played a pivotal role in ensuring that Ugandans are safe as well as ensuring that non Ugandan do not sneak into the country thus reducing the spread of the dead COVID-19 pandemic.
The president also revealed that the private sector which has moved in to ensure that there is steady supply of Sanitizers and face masks have save the country the burden of being in a crisis.
The president who was this evening updating the country on the status of COVID-19 in the country at state house Nakasero revealed that Ugandans have shown that they are capable of fighting jointly and being united for a common cause.
