Mbarara,Ibanda,Lyantonde receive CCTV cameras

The Uganda Internal Security Organization (ISO) has installed Closed
Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) in Ibanda Municipality as one way of fighting criminals.

Ibanda Municipality who doubles as Nsasi Ward Councilor, on Monday May 25,2020 revealed that recently they received a delegation from ISO informing
them about the installation of Closed Circuit Television Cameras
(CCTV) in Ibanda Municipality.
Banywana Fred explained that four Closed Circuit
Television Cameras (CCTV) have been installed;first camera was planted at Ibanda
Central Police station, another one at Ibanda Kagongo Junction,
Kitookye stage, Kazo Kamwenge Stage and another one at Panorama Bar
along Mpiira Street.

Banywana asked the Internal Security office to install
more in Ibanda Town and called upon all people in Ibanda Municipality
to be security conscious.

Meanwhile, the same has been done in Mbarara municipality (city effective July 1,2020), Lyantonde, and elsewhere as planned by security organizations/government.
