Mbarara district COVID_19 task force has sent a health team to Kikagate Isingiro to pick 2 COVID_19 patients bringing the total of admitted patients to 11. The first patient,a truck driver who was picked from Mirama Hills was discharged today.

Hospital Director,Dr. Celestine Barigye today confirmed that among the admitted is a female contact from TASO Village Mbarara who felt signs and symptoms and presented herself for testing.

Meanwhile, Ministry Of Health has today June 1,2020 confirmed 40 new COVID-19 cases that were tested yesterday 31 May 2020.

23 cases are among samples tested from Points of Entry while 17 cases are among samples of contacts and alerts.

Total confirmed cases: 457; 72 recoveries, no deaths.
