MP Aja calls for peaceful electoral campaigns

The Kabale Municipality Member of Parliament Andrew Ajja Baryayanga has called for peaceful electoral campaigns for the continued development of Kabale municipality.

Baryayanga was speaking to the media last evening at Kigezi gardens in Kabale municipality immediately after his nomination as an Independent candidate to rerun as Kabale municipality MP. He was nominated by the Kabale District Returning Officer Hajji Ahmed Naduli Musisi.

Baryayanga said that Kabale Municipality is known for holding peaceful elections and is optimistic that the status quo should remain the same. He asked the people of Kabale Municipality to remain calm and avoid hate speech campaigns.

Born in Kijuguta ward, Northern Division Kabale Municipality, Andrew Aja Baryayanga was first elected Member of Parliament in 2011. He was reelected in 2016 and is  now seeking for  a third  term of office .
