The Kigezi inter-religious council chairperson for Kigezi sub region Rev.Fr.Gaetano Batanyenda has called revealed that president Tibuhaburwa Museveni should pick a lesson from the move by Ugandans to vote out a total of 25 of his ministers in the recently concluded presidential and parliamentary elections.

The Man of God who was on Tuesday evening speaking at a press briefing held Kick corruption out of Uganda Office in Kirigime –Kabale town revealed that the decision to vote out the minister was as a result of anger and aimed at sending a message to the president that the Ugandans are desperate for change.

Batanyenda says that Ugandans continue to struggle to get access to services such as education, water, electricity among others while the ministers and other top government officials are living extravagantly.

He says that it is time for the president who has been re-elected through what he describes as a sham election to revise his approach to administration and put the people first instead of only trying to please the ministers and other officials who he says are burden to the country’s economy.
