The Supreme Court has this morning adjourned to tomorrow 5th March 2021, to hear and determine NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s application seeking to withdraw his election petition against President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

This was after Kyagulanyi’s lawyer Medard Lubega Sseggona informed the panel of nine justices led by the Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo that he had no valid practicing certificate to be able to proceed as required by the advocates act.

Ssegona also informed court that he submitted his certificate to the Law Council for renewal but he has not got it back and the grace period within which he was supposed to have it expired on 1st March.2021.
