Kigezi Diocese Bishop George Bagamuhunda has called on Christians to embrace covid-19 vaccination Jab as they enter into the Easter season.

Bishop Bagamuhunda made the call today while holding a press conference as he was delivering Easter messages in the Bishop’s office at Rugarama Hill Kabale Municipality.

He appealed to Christians to take seriously the plea of Government on Covid19 vaccine and go to their designated centers and receive covid19 vaccine most especially to persons above 50 years and other groups.

He said that Jesus Christ redeemed us from the bondage of the center because he loved us and went ahead on cross because of our sins thus asking the Christians to love one another in these days when Jesus is going to die and resurrect.

He requested Christians to tolerate each other in the manner of Jesus Christ just as the risen Lord instructs us to as we serve in various communities and offices which we hold. He said let us stand for justice and work for peace to be among all of us.

He further appealed to heads of schools and teachers to be able to work hard to complete the syllabus within the shortest time given to children who have been able to go back to school in the remaining part of this year.

Bagamuhunda noted that parents should continue providing basic Necessities as a tool to help children to take their education seriously

However, Bagamuhunda encouraged church leaders to cooperate with head teachers and teachers in ensuring that children are safe while at school.
