Tiles and Terazo FC will have themselves to blame after they conceded a late equalizer at home in a 1-1 draw with Kigezi Home Boys .
Denis Lubowa converted a spot kick for Kigezi Home Boyz in the 89th minute to cancel Peter Semanda’s 70th minute goal of the season contender.
The game played at Kakyeka stadium saw Bright Haguma missing a penalty that could have given Kigezi Home Boyz a lead in the early first half, and Peter Semanda converted Wilber Masereka’s cross to give Tiles and Terazo a footing in the 70th minute.
Home Boyz Coach Mark Twinamasiko called off Bright Haguma and introduced in Rodgers Tabule who patterned with Denis Lubowa at 74 minutes, to produce a more formidable attacking force at the front.
After a series of blocks and ariel duels in the penalty area, Refree Geofrey Ssejjabi pointed at the spot to confirm a handball conceded by Tiles and Terazo in the 88th minute .
Denis Lubowa made no mistake and converted the spot kick with a composed shot in the right corner.
The draw leaves Kigezi home Boys at 6 points in the 7th position of the Rwenzori Group , while Tiles and Terazo remains at the bottom with 2 points.
Else where, Tooro United overcame newly promoted Luwero United 3-0 at the Kosovo play ground in Kasaana, Luwero district, while Proline played to 1-1 draw with Ndejje University at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo on the same day.
Match day 6 action continues on Friday, 23rd April 2021 as Nyamityobora and Water face off at the Kakyeka stadium.
