FUFA Women Super League

UCU Lady Cardinals 1- Uganda Martyrs HS

Kawempe Muslim 0-1 Lady Doves

It is now confirmed that the 2020/21 FUFA Super League final will be between UCU Lady Cardinals and Lady Doves after the playoff matches on Monday.

UCU Cardinals confirmed their berth into the final in the last game on Monday after overcoming Uganda Martyrs High School, Lubaga.

Jauharah Nabaggala scored the lone goal of the game when she struck from the rebound after goalkeeper Daphine Nyayenga had initially saved Sandra Kisakye’s attempt.

Uganda Martyrs will have to rue the several chances missed on the day with Anita Namata, Spencer Nakacwa and Catherine Nagadya all coming close.

UCU Lady Cardinals had goalkeeper Ruth Aturo to thank when she denied Nagadya twice, including a one on one situation in the second half.

Despite immense pressure from Uganda Martyrs in a bid to find the equalizer, UCU Lady Cardinals did well to deny the former.

The final slated for Wednesday will be between UCU Lady Cardinals and Lady Doves who defeated Kawempe Muslim in the other game.

This will be a repeat of the 2018/19 final which UCU Lady Cardinals won.
