ACP Anatoli Muleterwa, the Head of Community Policing in the Uganda Police Force is holding a meeting with local leaders from Budaka.
The meeting is aimed at strengthening community policing through capacity building with all local council leaders on crime prevention. Later, the team will meet with the local leaders from Butebo District in the afternoon.
Earlier, Muleterwa and his team met with all the Jinja District and Elgon Regional Police officers where he urged them to be committed on duty, serve with professionalism and have a desire for the police work so as to leave a legacy for their performance by making positive contribution towards the Uganda Police Force by effectively serving the public which he said is only possible if they embark on community policing approach.
