Two people were on Tuesday evening killed in an accident in Kanungu district.
The accident involved motorvehicle registration number UBE790D Toyota super custom grey in color which was being driven by Denis Emmanuel (37).
The dead include Omar Elsayed Mohammed Eldaghar (27) an Egyptian national who died on spot and Simeon Kabatereine (49) a resident of Rushasha village Mpungu in Kanungu who died as he was being rushed to hospital.
Hommel Laurenz (24) a German national who was a passenger and the driver are both admitted at Bwindi hospital but in stable condition .
Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate says that the vehicle knocked a pedestrian before it veered off the road and was stopped by trees as it rolled down into the valley.
He adds the bodies have been taken to Bwindi hospital and investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
