Covid-19 : Kabale Hotelier Christopher Batare laid to rest

Kabale based Business man and hotelier, Christopher Batare has today been laid to rest at his home in Katega Cell Nyabikoni ward central Division Kabale Municipality.

Batare breathed last on Sunday evening due to COVID-19 that he had battled for weeks. He has also been a money changer based in Kabale town and the Uganda- Rwanda border Katuna. Batare has been a founder and Chief Executive Officer CEO of a well-known Kings Hotel located opposite Police Barracks in Kabale municipality.

Shalon Ninsiima Batare the daughter of the deceased described his father as a hardworking man, Hospitable, advisable who loved advising. She said that his dad has left a legacy which will continue booming

Generous Tumusiime Batare wife to the deceased described his husband as a strong man who was a hard working, Loved his children, Business Man, Generous. He said that his husband has been suffering from High blood pressure, Diabetes.

Rev Can Guard Akajuna the Archdeacon All Saints Church, preaching during the burial ceremony said that Batare will be remembered as a person who was supportive to the church and an employee to many Ugandans. He called upon Christians to accept Jesus Christ as their savior if they are to enter in the kingdom of God.

Sam Arineitwe, Chairperson lc 3 central division warned the public against disrespecting the security who are enforcing regulations to curtail the spread of covid-19. Christopher Batare 58 years has survived two windows, 17 children and 17 grandchildren.
