Rubanda West Mp, Kenya’s vice president discuss investment

The Rubanda West Member of Parliament Hon. Moses Kamuntu has today met Hon. William Ruto Kenya’s Vice President and discussed matters of importance including the development of iron ore mining and processing in Rubanda District.


The two discussed among others the expansion plan for the iron ore project that has benefitted not only the Rubanda natives but also people from all walks of life including Kenyans where it is exported.


Hon. Kamuntu who recently donated different assortments to the people in a move to defeat COVID-19 vowed to press on as far as the iron ore mining is concerned. He explained that as he intends to fight poverty in Rubanda district, covid won’t derail him from fostering the campaign to develop Rubanda and Kigezi at large.


Meanwhile, Ruto has promised to offer support to Hon Kamuntu and promised to partner with him in all his projects. He’s vowed to share the idea with the Kenyan government to establish more links for the betterment of the project.
Ruto also promised to discuss more with the self-styled legislator on matters; iron ore preparation plant and installation of loading equipment at the mines; improvement of way and structure, purchase and operation of rolling stock, and more development among others.
