Six people were killed during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday by suspected Allied Democratic Forces- ADF rebels in Bulongo, a rural commune in the Ruwenzori sector, in the territory of Beni (North Kivu) province, Democratic Republic of Congo.
The local civil society, which delivers the information, speaks of a still provisional assessment because several people are missing. These men, she said, carrying firearms and knives killed six civilians: three women, two men, and a child.
In recent weeks, the Ruwenzori sector has been the subject of several attacks when it is reported the gradual return of the population who had moved for a year, to find refuge in areas deemed more secure.
