The Police in Kabale district are investigating circumstances under which a 52 years old Rwandan was murdered.
The deceased has been identified as Dusabimana Theoneste from Gicumbi Rwanda according to details on his national identity card.
According to Elly Maate the Kigezi region police spokesperson Information was received at Katuna police station that there was a body of a Rwandan national found in Rushaki village Katuna town council Kabale district.
It’s alleged that last night, the deceased was heard making an alarm from the side of Rwanda and today morning at around 8:00am the deceased was found dead in Rushaki village, Karujanga ward in Katuna town council with deep cut wounds around his head
Maate said that police officers from Kabale responded to the scene with a police surgeon and SOCO, Photos were taken covering the scene, sketch plan drawn, post-mortem was done, statements were recorded and the body was taken to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary awaiting further necessary action.
