Alexander Kyokwijuka a Kampala-based business consultant has called for more support to be accorded to sports in a bid to nature the talent.
Kyokwijuka was on Sunday speaking as the guest of honor at Kacuro in Kyanamira sub-county where Kacuro humbled Kyanamiira 1-0 and Katookye defeated Kigarama 2-1 in the ongoing Kyokwijuka cup.
Kyokwijuka revealed that there is a need for more resources to be allocated to the sports sector in a bid to nature the talent of many young children.
He further revealed that the intentions for the tournament are to support the development of talent, seek employment opportunities for the youth as well as keep the youth busy to avoid moral decay.
He added that the youth should maintain the spirit of unity and focus on Development asking them to use sports to mobilize themselves and promising to keep supporting them.
Also present at the function were Richard Omudegede the Mayor to be, Kabanyonyi Town Council, Jasper Magara among other Local leaders.
The function was also attended by hundreds of people from the Ndorwa east constituency.
