UNRA diverts traffic along Kampala- Masaka Highway

The Uganda National Roads Authority has diverted traffic along the Kampala-Masaka highway to pave way for repairs along at Lwera Swamp.

In a press release by the authority, the move is aimed at having time to repair damaged sections in Lwera wetland.

UNRA reveals that the repairs will always be carried out between Tuesdays and Thursdays and works are expected to be complete by the 3rd of December 2021.

The same communication further reveals that delays in traffic flow are expected and the motorists have been advised to use  Mpigi-Kanoni-Sembabule –Villamaria –Nyendo/Masaka road as an alternative route.
