Peak FM radio listeners, clients, and different stakeholders expressed different reactions during the end-of-year party.
The function that was held yesterday at Kirigime guest house was attended by Peak FM radio listener’s clients, political leaders, staff, religious leaders, analysts among others. The function started in the afternoon with the theme “Peak FM in promoting social and economic accountability to enhance service delivery”.
However different people expressed different reactions, Agrey Masiko the proprietor of Bricolps Kabale, said that Peak radio has been able to give accurate information to the public ever since it began which has led to its progress.
Bonny Tumuranze, the Kigezi region ANTI coordinator commended peak FM radio for exhibiting professionalism. He added that peak FM has grown fast due to the fact it doesn’t discriminate religiously, politically, and others.
He however urged peak FM staff to respect their job and do what their listeners demand not what they like
Caleb Rwakatungu and Christine Nyinabashatu Turyakira expressed the need for peak FM to boost the coverage and reach far away distances which is still a problem that some people in different areas fail to capture peak radio.
Rwakatungu emphasized the need for peak FM to continue giving current news, announcements, and accountability.
Hamza, one of peak FM’s favorite fans, asked peak FM to give the listeners an opportunity to be hosted in the studios of peak FM and have a privilege.
He requested for the peak FM listeners Sacco that will generate income and get together among the listeners.
The crowd left the function excited after the Director Peak FM Denis Nzeirwe assured that he is working on the mast which will be in place before the end of January 2022.
He also promised to fulfill what was requested by different stakeholders.
Agaba Sam, the Regional IGG Kabale speaking as the Chief Guest commended Peak for being informative, accurate, entertaining, and educative through its news, programs, and talk shows.
He implored for the fight against corruption starting from our homes and living a better life in the future.
Peak fm radio started in February 2018, next year in February peak FM will be celebrating four years in existence.
