Former Igara West Member of Parliament, Tarsis Bazana Kabwegyere, has asked Ugandans not to derail the security of Uganda by doing their things but follow the right ways and stay focused on development.

Kabwegyere was speaking as the chief guest at a celebration of Mr. Amos Rwangomani who was released and set free by the Army’s General Court Martial.

Rwangomani was arrested last year at the height of Bijjambiya incidents in greater Masaka but was charged with Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition.

He was picked from Kampala by men dressed in civilian and taken to CMI headquarters before appearing before the General Court Martial and remanding him to Kitalya where he spent 40 days.

Kabwegyere says that the country is currently moving on the right path and those that are trying to fail will not succeed.

Amos Rwangomani says he was kidnapped since his arrest was not formal and out of law noting that he was picked from a hotel in Kampala put in a drone at whisked away.

He blames his kidnap on change in the office where he works from.

“I was arrested taken to CMI headquarters charged with Possession of Illegal Firearms and Ammunition, the Media charged me with Masaka Bijjambiya murders but God is good I was innocent and released and set free by the Court Martial”. Narrates Amos Rwangomani.

Rwangomani says it was the darkest moment of his life.
