Training opportunities for Persons with disabilities

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Disability and Elderly Affairs under the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development, invites applications from Youth with Disabilities (Boys and Girls) aged 16 years and above for Vocational Skills training courses in its Vocational Rehabilitation Training Institutions. The training takes 12 months starting in April 2022.

Qualifications: Primary Seven and above or an interested youth with disability though did not go to school, the training is hands on.

Application forms can be got from the District Community Development Offices (DCDOs) in the various Local Governments for free. Applications are received up to the end of March 2022 and classes begin on 04th April 2022.

Feeding, Tuition and accommodation are catered for by the Government of Uganda.
