One person died moments later when was knocked by a speeding motorcyclist in Rukiga district.
The accident involved a motorcycle registration number UFG 289V Bajaj boxer red in color which was being ridden by a yet to be known person and a pedestrian one Lamla Ninsiima Lamla now the deceased aged 10 years of Ngango cell Kashekye parish in Kamwezi sub-county Rukiga district.
The incident occurred on 01/05/2022 at around 16:30 hours.
It’s alleged that the rider lost control because of overspeeding and rammed into the deceased off the road who was fetching water from the tap.
Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate told our reporter that the police are hunting for the yet-to-be-known rider to help in investigations.
