2.9m Ugx raised at Peak Fm thanksgiving.

A total of 2.9 Ugx have been raised during the thanks giving of peak radio held at St Phillips Church of Uganda Bugongi in Kabale Municipality.

The thanksgiving attracted different Christians, Peak FM listener’s, clients, Staff and many organization’s during the church service.

In a church service that was presided over by Rev Micheal Asiimwe Parish priest St Phillips Church of Uganda, commended the Peak fm for having a spirit of thanking God which is a sign of God fearing.

He appealed to Christians to emulate thanksgiving saying that when working for the Lord you lose nothing rather than blessings from almighty God.

Preaching during the church service, Naboth Teriyitu programs director at Peak Fm Radio, emphasized the need for Christians to give thanks to God for everlasting life.

He called upon the youth to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and mind and with all your strength. Love your neighbor as you love yourself,” he said in reference to the scriptures.

He also urged the Christians to desist from Fornication, witchcraft, hatred acts of evil that are against God’s commandments.

 Denis Nzeirwe the Managing Director said that Peak fm revealed that peak fm thanksgiving was a sign to appreciate God for the Four years it has been existence while serving the community.

He commended religious leaders for standing with Christians in hard times and always comforting them through.

  Mr. Nzeirwe called upon Christians to have faith in God and endure the current economic crisis, saying God will deliver them from hardship.

In a football match between Peak Fm and St Phillips Bugongi Church of Uganda, held at Kigezi high school primary after the match Peak fm played St Phillips defeated peak fm with 3 goals to 2.
