A total of one million shillings were on Sunday raised during the thanksgiving of Bethel Radio held at Hope Discovery Church, Ntungamo.

The thanksgiving attracted different Christians, Bethel FM listeners, clients, staff, and many organizations during the church service. In a church service that was presided over by Pastor Byakatonda Emmanuel, a minister from Rwanda, commended Bethel Radio for having a spirit of thanksgiving, which is a sign of God-fearing, and promised to be an ambassador in Rwanda.

Angela Aturwaneho on behalf of the Directors thanked listeners for the support and appreciates God for support towards bringing radio back on the air.

Edward Natamba, Director of SOWIPA Ntungamo District and a fan of bethel Radio, joined Thanksgiving for having brought back the radio in high gear. He said the programs at Bethel Radio are in line with sustainable development goals (SDGs) that our country is committed to, especially in fighting for goal number 10 of reducing inequality, which is common in our country, like these days when there is an economic crisis and industrial action by teachers. He recommends Bethel Radio as it has strongly come out to discuss such issues that impact local citizens’ negativity.

Edward also said Bethel Radio has removed the monopoly of media houses in Ntungamo and speaks out on people’s minds.

He commended the manager, the management, staff, listeners and fans. Ntungamo Municipality recommends Bethel Radio for its programming because it is non-discriminatory.
