Ntunngamo resident district commissioner Geoffrey Mucunguzi has called for joint efforts toward realizing effective service delivery.

The resident district commissioner was speaking at the opening of the two days induction training organized by the ministry of local government held at Ntungamo district council hall.

Mucunguzi revealed that effective service delivery will only be realized when all the concerned parties play their roles and respect one another.

He commended the ministry of local government for moving in to sensitize the councilors saying that this enables them to deliberate when they are informed and within the confines of the laws.

Speaking at the same training Nicholas Twikirize the district speaker revealed that regular training is very vital for the councilors since they keep them updated on their roles and responsibilities in addition to making it easy for them to deliberate.

He revealed that the council has tried its best to play its responsibilities and called on technocrats to always endeavor to implement council decisions if effective service delivery is to be realized.
